Salal Berry Oat Crumble
A warm berry crumble made with ripe salal berries, rolled oats, brown sugar and cinnamon.

Salal berry oat crumble is a warm and comforting dessert that highlights the deep, mildly sweet flavor of ripe salal berries. The juicy berry filling becomes soft and rich as it bakes, while the oat topping turns golden and crisp. This simple dessert is ideal for cool evenings, family meals or whenever you have fresh salal berries available. A little lemon juice brightens the berry flavor, while cinnamon adds warmth to the crumble topping. Serve it warm on its own or with yogurt or ice cream for an extra-creamy finish.
